2009/2010 Preliminary Annual Operating and Capital Improvement Budget

The City’s budget process for fiscal year 2009/2010 is underway. The Preliminary Budget document is online and can be accessed below. Budget meetings have been scheduled.

Special Budget Work Sessions where the public can observe and listen:

• July 9 - 1 p.m.
• August 4 - 1 p.m.

Regular Work Sessions & Council Meetings where the budget will be discussed:

• July 13 - 1 p.m. Preliminary Millage Rate (Work Session for Council discussion only)
• July 16 - 6 p.m. Preliminary Millage Rate (public can comment)
• August 3 - 6 p.m. Special Meeting (public can comment)
• August 31 - 9 a.m. (Work Session for Council discussion only)
• September 3 - 6 p.m. First Public Hearing (public can comment)
• September 14 - 1 p.m. (Work Session for Council discussion only)
• September 17 - 6 p.m. Final Public Hearing (public can comment)

All of these budget meetings will be cablecast on C-VIEW, the City’s government access television station. They can also be viewed online through the streaming video section of this Web site.
