Public libraries in Pinellas County have joined forces to improve your library services!
By the end of 2008, all public libraries in Pinellas County will operate the same catalog, called PALS. So you'll be able to search for items in one library and pick them up in another.
To accomodate Phase 2 of the project, the Catalog will be unavailable from July 28 - August 5, 2008 and all Clearwater Public Library branches will be closed August 5.
Some libraries in the county have done smaller versions of this for years. Dunedin Public Library, Largo Public Library, Oldsmar Public Library, Safety Harbor Public Library and Tarpon Springs Library have all been part of the Sunline system. St. Petersburg Public Library, Gulf Beaches Library, Gulfport Library and St. Pete Beach Library have been part of the SPIN system. This time, we're uniting everyone to make it easier for you.
This will be done in 2 phases:
Phase 1 (April 2008): Clearwater Public Library System, East Lake Library, Gulf Beaches Library, Gulfport Public Library, Palm Harbor Library, Pinellas Park Library, St. Petersburg Public Library, St. Pete Beach Library
Phase 2 (August 2008): Dunedin Public Library, Largo Public Library, Oldsmar Public Library, Safety Harbor Public Library, Tarpon Springs Library
