Bright House Networks Clearwater Celebrates America

Description:  The festival is free and will feature the Mostly Pops Orchestra with John, Mary K. and Paul Wilson, a fantastic fireworks display, vendors, children’s activities, and food and drink concessions. Gates open at 4 p.m., the Mostly Pops Orchestra begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m. No alcoholic beverages, glass containers or bottles, umbrellas, canopies, pets or personal fireworks allowed. Outside food, coolers, and SEALED non-alcoholic beverages are permitted for July 4th ONLY.

Clearwater Aging Well Center Offers Open House, Innovative Classes

Description:  Clearwater’s Aging Well Center, that opened its doors June 8 at the Long Center, will hold a Friday, July 16 open house from 1 to 3 p.m. at the center, 1501 N. Belcher Rd. Clearwater area adults of all ages are invited to attend, tour the center and review the innovative programs designed to improve overall health and quality of life, strength, and cognitive skills in a relaxed, social environment.

Clearwater Beach Sea Oat Planting

Description:  The Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl is offering area youth 14 & under the opportunity to attend a FREE youth football clinic at the Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex in Clearwater. College football coaches and student athletes from across Florida will be on-site to offer instruction to youth participants who want to learn more about proper tackling/agility, passing, receiving and kicking. Youth coaches and parents are welcome to attend and share in the fun to kick-off the youth football season.
