Description: The St. Petersburg Times Turkey Trot is the largest running event in the Tampa Bay area with over 16,000 participants. This road race is for competitive runners, recreational runners, and walkers of all ages. Fee includes an event T-shirt. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers. Proceeds benefit local charities. Canned goods and non-perishable food collected in the stadium on race day are donated to the Food Pantry Program at Religious Community Services, Inc.

Santa will visit from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Catch Fox 13 reporter Charley Belcher as he joins city officials to light up the holiday tree in Station Square Park at 7:30 p.m. Judging of this year’s annual Holiday Wreath Decorating Contest will immediately follow.
