Clearwater Library System Meeting Room Policies

PPLC membership
The Clearwater Public Library System (CPLS) is a member of the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative (PPLC) and abides by PPLC policies in addition to those listed below.

Library cards
Library cards will be issued immediately upon application with proper identification. Card holders may apply in person for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) at any CPLS library. PINs are used to place reserves and access user records via the Online Library Catalog.

Non-Resident cards
Fee for persons outside the PPLC taxing district is $100.00 per household.

Loan periods
DVDs, Videos & Electronic Games: 7 Days
New Books, Magazines, & Music CDs: 14 Days
All Other Materials: 28 Days

Checkouts
DVDs and CD Books limit of 6

Overdue fines
$1/Day for DVDs and Electronic Games
$0.10/Day for All Other Materials

Reserves
All items may be reserved except best sellers and new videos. Reserves may be placed online,by telephone, in-person at any Clearwater Public Library System branch, or via the Online Library Catalog with a valid PIN number. You are limited to 6 holds on DVDs and CD Books and 15 on all other materials.

Renewals
Items, except DVDs, may be renewed up to 2 times if there are no requests for the item. DVDs may be renewed 1 time if there are no requests for the item.
