As part of National Small Business Week, SBA honored one Small Business Subcontractor of the year that has provided the government and industry with outstanding goods and services. The winner this year is Susan Englander, president of EEI Manufacturing Services, located in Clearwater, FL.

EEI, an 8(a) and HUBZone-certified firm, specializes in design services, circuit card assembly and Box Build & System Integrations supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Transportation, and medical electronics. Englander has built her company from the ground up, taking it from a two-employee firm with $700,000 in gross sales annually to more than $7 million in revenue and 26 employees.
