Business Guide - City Council
The City of Clearwater was incorporated on May 27, 1915. The duty of
the City Council is to discharge
the obligations and responsibilities imposed by State
Law, City
Ordinance and the Clearwater
Charter. Policy is set by the City Council, elected at large by the
voters of the City. The City Council appoints a City Manager as the City's
Chief Executive and Administrative Officer of the City.
The City Council meetings
are held on the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:00pm in the
Council Chambers, located on the third floor of City Hall. On the
Monday prior to the first and third Thursday of each month, a Work Session
is held in the Chambers to discuss the upcoming agenda. The
City Council meetings and Work Sessions are televised on C-VIEW TV. |
