Station 45
Built in 1974, this two-story fire station facility serves as both
a fire station and a fire administration office.
The station serves
the downtown district of both commercial and residential areas
of Clearwater. Located next to the Police Department, the station
is
equipped with one ALS engine company, one ALS rescue unit, one
aerial truck company, one district commander, and a support of
special teams
equipment and reserve apparatus.
The Fire Shop facility, which
provides maintenance and repair procedures for the entire departments
apparatus
fleet, is located on the east side of the station. Fire Administration
is located on the first floor west wing of the facility.
The Fire Prevention and Inspection Division is located in a annex
building at this same location.

Station 44
Completed in Oct. 2002, this two-story fire station facility
with two drive-thru apparatus bays. Station #44 serves the Sand
Key area, which includes a year round residential community, restaurants,
and a wide variety of specialty shops, high-rise hotels, and condominiums.
Station #44 is set between the Sand Key bridge and Sand Key park
entrance. The station is equipped with one (1) ALS fire engine,
which is staffed with one lieutenant, one driver operator, and
one fire fighter/paramedic.

Station 46
Built in 1964, this two story fire station facility provides
fire protection and ALS response coverage for the beach community.
Station #46 serves the beach area, which includes a year round
residential community, restaurants, and a wide variety of specialty
shops, high-rise hotels and condominiums.
This two bay drive-thru
facility is equipped with one engine company, one ALS rescue
unit (4x4). Full staffing consists of one lieutenant, one driver
operator,
one firefighter, one lead paramedic and one paramedic.
This facility
also houses a Jet Ski and a four-wheel drive mule for beach
access, for surface water rescue operations, and special event
needs.

Station 47
Built in 1974, this single story fire station facility provides
response coverage to a large residential community area that borders
the Largo Fire Rescue fire district to the south.
This three (3)
bay facility, houses one engine company, one ALS transport rescue
unit, and one reserve engine apparatus. Full staffing is one lieutenant,
one driver operator, one firefighter, one lead medic, and one firefighter/paramedic.
This facility also houses the Department’s supply warehouse,
which provides the Department with the daily functional needs along
with numerous other resources.
Safety Village is also located next
to this location, which was developed for public education and
training.

Station 48
Built in 1978, this single-story fire station facility provides
response coverage to residential, industrial, and a wide variety
of commercial structures along with the City airport park complex.
This three drive-thru bay facility is equipped with one engine
company, one ALS transport rescue unit, one aerial truck company,
and one district commander.
This location is also home to the Department’s
training complex that includes a classroom, a five- story fire
training tower, and other resources for all types of active fire
training needs.

Station 49
|
Opened in December 2003, this fire station facility provides needed
coverage to a large response area, bordering Largo Fire Rescue to
the South and the City of Tampa to the East.
This four-bay drive thru facility is equipped with an ALS engine,
squad, rescue, and marine unit. Additionally, the Rescue Lieutenant's
office is located here. This new one-story station is ADA compliant
and has a diverse housing layout.

Station 50

Built in 1977, this single story fire station facility provides
coverage to the northeast area of the fire district. This combination
residential and commercial area borders with several mutual aid
fire departments.
This three-bay drive-thru facility is equipped
with one engine company and one ALS transport rescue unit. Full
staffing is one lieutenant, one driver operator, one firefighter,
one lead medic and one firefighter/paramedic.
This facility also
currently houses a reserve aerial unit and a reserve rescue
unit.

Station 51
Opened in August of 2004, this single story fire station provides
coverage to the northwest area of Clearwater's fire district bordering
the City of Dunedin. This facility was architecturally duplicated
from our Fire Station 49. This four-bay drive thru facility is equipped
with an ALS engine, which is staffed with a Lieutenant, Driver Operator,
and Fire Medic. This station is ADA compliant and has a diverse
housing layout.

Technical Rescue Response Units
Truck #48 and Squad #49
The Technical Rescue Team (TRT) was formally established in 1989
to provide the City of Clearwater with the required response coverage
to workers entering confined spaces while providing adequate response
to high angle rescue operations. The team merged with Pinellas County
in 1991 to enhance training and response countywide. Currently the
teams capabilities are:
- Confined Space
- High Angle
- Building Collapse
- Trench and Excavation
- Heavy Extrication
- Light Urban Search & Rescue Operations
