Beach Patrol - Jr. Lifeguard ProgramNEW! - Applications for the Summer 2008 Jr. Lifeguard Program are now being accepted - View or print flyer and application form Completed forms should be mailed to: Jr. Lifeguard Program Purpose: To provide the kids in our community a sound aquatic background by acquainting them with the hazards of the ocean environment and the skills needed to one day become an ocean lifeguard. Emphasizing good moral character and sportsmanship is the foundation of our program. Content: Ocean and beach safety, lifesaving techniques and procedures, rescue board skills, ecology, first aid and competition. Program for kids ages 10-16. Space is limited.
