The overall goal of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development - Community Planning and Development programs are to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment and expanding economic opportunities principally for very-low to moderate income persons. The primary means toward this end is to extend and strengthen partnerships among all levels of government and the private sector, including for-profit and non-profit organizations, in the production and operation of affordable housing.

Pursuant to Rule 62-708 of the Florida Administrative Code, the City of Clearwater is disclosing the full cost of
solid waste management services to the residential and non-residential users within its service area. All workpapers
and source documents used in calculating this information are maintained in the files and are available for public
inspection during normal business hours at the City of Clearwater, Department of Solid Waste, 1701 N. Hercules
Avenue, Clearwater, Florida.

The cost information provided above for Residential Customers is based on one 90-gallon container serviced twice
weekly, a yard waste, trash, and recycling collection once a week and oversized items on call. The City provides
and maintains a semi-automated cart and recycling container to each residential user. For Non-Residential Customers,
the average monthly cost information is based on a four cubic yard container collected twice a week. The City
provides and maintains a commercial container to each non-residential user. Actual cost for any given account may
vary due to the service provided to that account.
