Arts & Culture - Clearwater Chorus
"It's a Grand Night for Singing!"
at Ruth Eckerd Hall, February 19-20, 2010
"It's a Grand Night for Singing!" as the Clearwater Chorus takes the stage for two performances in our intimate Murray Studio Theater. Recognized as one of our city’s oldest musical organizations and the featured Ruth Eckerd Hall adult choir, the chorus gathers weekly on Tuesday evenings to rehearse. It was featured at the inaugural opening of Ruth Eckerd Hall in 1983 and has performed here every year since. Performance highlights include tours of Europe in 1982 and again in 1997, in addition to appearances alongside the Florida Orchestra, the Florida Pops Orchestra, the Canadian Brass, Linda Eder, Dave Brubeck, Andy Williams and John Tesh. Now in its 41st year, and over 100+ members strong, the chorus continues to grow and learn as a group, fostering new skills and friendships. Join us for a lovely evening filled with beautiful voices, the spirit of fellowship and the shared love of music.
Friday - Feb. 19th at 7pm
Saturday - Feb. 20th at 7pm
Tickets: $15.00, call (727) 791-7400 or visit www.rutheckerdhall.com
