Arts & Culture - City PlayersDon't miss this summer's show! "South Pacific" Building People and Community Through Theatre
Clearwater City Players, in existence for over thirty years, has been delighting audiences with lavish summer musicals at Ruth Eckerd Hall since 1984. The group provides a unique opportunity for community members to perform in a musical at this prestigious venue with talents of all levels working together onstage and off, all learning from one another. Members take pride in providing the highest quality in all aspects of a production, from performances to set design to lighting to costumes and props. City Players reaches out to the entire community, generally incorporating from 70 to 100 cast members. Actors from ages 4 to 80 perform side by side, some coming from as far away as Spring Hill and Bradenton, to even New York City! Often entire families perform together. In spite of the size of the casts, everyone is given a little taste of "stardom." Contact Betty Jane Pucci (727) 531-8026 for further information.
