FeaturesHarbored underneath an historic oak grove, Bayview Park offers a chance to experience a Florida rarely found in this area. Inside the park, there is over a half mile of nature trail, picnic areas, a beach overlook and an abundance of native vegetation and wildlife. Few places allow you to experience so much in such a small locality and serve as an escape. Created to protect the native landscape, Bayview has everything from native vegetation to local wildlife. A trip into Bayview Park is a trip across the Florida landscape offering samples of the various ecosystems found throughout the Sunshine State. From wetlands to a one hundred year old oak forest, the dynamic landscape will keep a plant and wildlife enthusiast coming back for more. Bayview Park would not be a reality without the support of the public and local governments. Funded by grants from the State of Florida's Communities Trust and Explore the many uses of Bayview Park. Not only is this an area for bikers and hikers, but also for the bird watcher, butterfly collector and even the occasional kayak trip. Educational classes will tour the park to learn about native plants and the impact they have on local wildlife. Bayview is a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered.
