Cleveland St., between East St. and Fort Harrison Ave., Downtown Clearwater
Fourth Friday is a themed event held on the 4th Friday of every month on Cleveland Street in Downtown Clearwater. April’s event features songs from the 80s by the Kenny McGee Band.

National Scrapbook Day

Learn how to showcase your photos through a variety of traditional scrapbook styles including simple “slide in” photo-safe albums, digital organization and digital albums along with home décor items.

Japanese Culture and Lantern Festival

This event honors the Clearwater’s 50th anniversary as sister cities with Nagano, Japan. Demonstrations of traditional Japanese martial activities will include judo, kendo and yagyu. Other Japanese traditions on display will be the art of kimono, tea ceremonies, bonsai, sumi-e painting, calligraphy, and origami. Musical performances will include taiko drummers and the koto, a Japanese stringed instrument. The event culminates with a lantern lighting ceremony. Co-sponsored by the Consulate General of Japan.

Moonlight in Monte Carlo is presented by the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin, Inc. Join in for an evening of Las Vegas style gaming tables, live music, eight local restaurants featuring their specialties, chocolate desserts, silent and live auctions and much more. All proceeds to benefit the signature community project, “A.N.G.E.L.S. for Foster Families”.

Enjoy a day of family fun and healthy activities on a car-free, carefree Cleveland Street. Two miles of downtown Clearwater streets will be off-limits to car traffic, so cyclists, walkers, skaters, joggers and dog walkers can take over the streets for a day of street play.

Relay For Life

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people will camp out and take turns walking or running around path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event.

Enjoy a morning walk throughout the park. Staff from Moccasin Lake Nature Park will guide walkers and locate and identify various birds that reside in the park. After the walk, everyone is treated to a continental brunch at the park.
