Right-of-way Maintenance

Streets & Sidewalks

This division provides for the maintenance and repair of the City's 302 miles of paved streets. They repair, replace, and/or construct sidewalk, curb, and gutter. Their mission is to ensure safe and well maintained rights-of-ways for the residents and visitors of Clearwater.

Urban Forestry

This division provides maintenance of hardwood trees that can create hazards to the public by pruning tree limbs that block street signs, traffic signals, sidewalks, and roadways. It also removes damaged or diseased trees on City rights-of-way and City property. Palm pruning is performed on an established schedule, primarily at City facilities.
