Engineering Department - Construction Management

Program Description

The Construction Management Division provides a construction inspection service that includes verification and compliance for both public and private construction projects. Contractors are required to meet City standards and be in accordance with the plans and specifications generated by the Engineering Department or approved by Planning and Development & Neighborhood Services departments. This includes:

• Material testing to assure proper materials and procedures are used by contractors
• Removing of signs in right-of way and discovering of field conditions prior to engineering design.
