Engineering Department - Geographic Technology

Program Description

The Geographic Technology is responsible for project surveying, drafting, GIS, maintaining infrastructure atlasses and provides mapping support for multiple City departments.

• The GIS team is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and quality of City's Engineering related information.
• The CAD team provides engineering design support for City Engineers and the City's Survey Division.
• The Survey team provides surveying services to all City departments as necessary. This includes Global Positioning Services and conventional land surveying of data collection of horizontal and vertical conditions.
