Project Description: The Groundwater Replenishment Project Pilot and Testing Phase includes piloting of the proposed water purification plant at the Northeast Water Reclamation Facility taking reclaimed water and treating it using various purification processes, and testing the purified water with samples of cored limestone from the injection well.  The goal of the project is to see if it is viable to replenish the aquifer for future safe yields of groundwater for drinking water supply.

Consultant: Tetra Tech (Water Treatment), Leggette, Brashears and Graham (Hydrogeology)
Contractor: Harn R/O (pilot plant), Hausinger & Associates (wells)
Project Notes: Pilot Test will run beginning of June 2013 for a year.
