| Project Description: |
This project consists of the expansion of Lake Bellevue to provide additional flood storage capacity, creation of a littoral zone for water quality improvements and modification of the lake outfall structure to control the 100-year flood discharge. In addition the project will include elevating the eastern 400 feet of Dempsey Street, construction of a low berm and the reconstruction of Lakeview Avenue from Ewing Ave. to Missouri Ave. The expansion will remove overgrown vegetation in the east and west portions of the existing lake, preserve some native trees and vegetation as a buffer and reduce flooding along Lakeview Avenue. |
