GIS Instructions
GIS maps are created from our Geographic Information System (GIS). You can interactively find your Major basin and subbasin by zooming into increasingly detailed layers of data. We  use USGS 1995 Digital Ortho Photos as a backdrop.

Navigation:

Click the tiled map to access a greater level of detail. The tiling scheme is based on the Section/Township/Range. Other information such as road names, geographic names, creeks, and basin name help you find your location.

Click on the compass directions to navigate to adjacent tiles.

Data:

The information displayed here is work in progress by the Civil/Environmental engineers at Parsons ES, Inc. It represents detailed (1" = 200' or 1:2400 scale) hydrological interpretation based on SWFWMD Aerials and topography. You can see preliminary hydrologic basin delineations, conveyance network, and storm water storage areas. Use the legend bellow to identify features on the map.

The GIS Mapping is made up of 3 levels of detail.

Level I - Highest level, entire Stevenson Creek Watershed. Approximate scale 1:60,000.

Level II - Medium Level, Single Section. Approximate scale 1:10,000

Level III - Lowest Level, Quarter Section. Approximate scale 1:6000
