Special Concerns

Construction

PLEASE adhere to the traffic control devices in and around construction sites. If you are traveling through or around roadway construction, take notice of the signs and barricades which are positioned to provide for the health and safety of the vehicle's occupants and the construction workers building the site.

Road & Drainage

PLEASE dispose of all trash in a proper manner. Any and all debris, from cigarette butts, food and candy wrappers, to oil and gasoline, to sand and soil erosion, even leaves and grass clippings can make it into our drainage system. All of these will in time end up polluting our waterways, lakes, bays and gulf.

Urban Forestry

PLEASE observe proper tree care and pruning techniques in the maintenance of our urban forest. When trees are pruned, an arborist should be consulted as to where and how the cuts are to be made. Improper cuts may lead to disease, decay and even limb failure of an otherwise healthy tree.
