Conservation - Ultra Low Flow Toilet (ULFT) Rebate Program

Toilet Man Carrying Toilet

The City of Clearwater, in cooperation with Pinellas County Utilities and the Southwest Florida Water Management District, is participating in an offer for financial rebates to qualified City of Clearwater Public Utilities' water customers. Rebates will be available to customers who replace their old high flow toilets with low flow 1.6 gallon units. Rebates up to $100.00 will be provided for each high flow toilet replaced under the program. The rebates are being offered to single family, multi-family residential, and commercial customers.

The program goal is to replace 93,000 high flow toilets, which should produce two million gallons per day of potable water savings over a five-year period. The total project cost is $13,531,500.
