Pitch for Pink
Friday, July 22

On Friday, July 22nd the Clearwater Threshers will present the 11th Annual Pitch for Pink Breast Cancer event at Bright House Field. Autographed pink game jerseys worn by Threshers players, autographed pink bats, gift certificates, spa packages and more will be auctioned off to benefit breast health services and programs at Morton Plant Mease. The first 1,000 women will receive a pink tumbler giveaway. The game starts at 6:15 p.m. The post game concert will feature The Titans of Rock, a Bon Jovi/Journey Tribute Band.
Bright House 2016 Clearwater Super Boat National Championship & Seafood Festival
Friday, September 30 – Sunday, October 2
Cleveland Street, Coachman Park, and Clearwater Beach
This offshore powerboat race will feature some of the fastest powerboats in the world competing for the title of National Champion. The boats will race from Pier 60 north for about a half mile and back, doing laps around the loop. The race, which is free and open to the public, will take place on October 2. VIP packages available for purchase.
A Taste of Clearwater 2016

A Taste of Clearwater is a local tradition hosted by the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce. The evening will include food, drinks and entertainment from the greater Clearwater community. Admission TBD.
Clearwater Jazz Holiday

The Clearwater Jazz Holiday features national and local performing acts. There will be food and drink concessions, exhibitors and Clearwater Jazz Holiday merchandise on sale. Coolers, food, drinks, pets, fireworks, tents, and canopies are not permitted. Tickets range from $16-$170.

The GFWC North Pinellas Women’s Club presents the 40th annual Christmas Under the Oaks Arts & Crafts Show at beautiful, waterfront Coachman Park in Downtown Clearwater. Show proceeds benefit community scholarships, grants, and projects.

Festival of Trees, has become renowned in the Tampa Bay area as a holiday
festival in a family-centered fantasyland, and a signature event supporting The Arc Tampa Bay Foundation. Discover over 125 exquisitely decorated Christmas trees, hundreds of wreaths and countless decorations created by local artists, businesses and community leaders, all perfect for holiday giving or keeping! Enjoy holiday music and songs, live entertainment and visits with Santa while strolling around. Get creative in Santa’s Children’s Village where little ones can create holiday crafts and special memories to take home. Admission TBD.
Tampa Bay Times Turkey Trot Kick-off Party

This is the last opportunity to pre-register and pick up t-shirts before race day. Live music and food will help kick off this annual event. Official merchandise will be for sale. Free.
Tampa Bay Times Turkey Trot
Thursday, November 24
Clearwater High School Stadium, 540 S. Hercules Ave. • 7 a.m.
The Tampa Bay Times Turkey Trot is the largest running event in the Tampa Bay area. More than 17,000 runners participate. There’s a race for every skill level, including one for competitive runners, one for recreational runners, and one for walkers. Fee includes an event t-shirt. Top finisher for the competitive races will receive a trophy. Proceeds benefit local charities. Canned goods and non-perishable food will be collected in the stadium on race day and will be donated to the food pantry at Religious Community Services Inc.
Outback Bowl Beach Day
Friday, December 30
Hilton Clearwater Beach, 400 Mandalay Ave. • 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Join the teams, their marching bands and cheerleaders as they enjoy the sun and beaches at the Hilton Clearwater Beach next to Pier 60. This fun day includes live music, skydivers, a tug-of-war and other contests from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
After Beach Day stick around for Sunsets at Pier 60 featuring artisans, music and more while you watch the sunset on the Gulf of Mexico.
