11/18/2009 - New Signs Installed at Glen Oaks Park
With help from volunteers representing McKim & Creed, P.A., the Clearwater Parks and Recreation Department will install new educational signs at Glen Oaks Park, 1345 Court St., on Saturday, Nov. 21. Included are ten, full-color signs explaining park history, watersheds, and the identification of native and invasive flora and fauna found at the park.

Current reclaimed water projects already under construction include those in the Morningside, Skycrest, Lake Chautauqua, and Coachman Ridge areas. Residents in the Clearwater Harbor and Glen Oaks/Palmetto regions of the city can expect to get reclaimed water soon, as these projects are already in the design phase.

Lane and road closures will start at 5 a.m. throughout the county. Clearwater Beach road closures will begin at 3 a.m., and drivers will not be permitted to travel south of the roundabout due to closures on Coronado Drive and South Gulfview Boulevard.
