Aging Well Center Provides Summer Diversions

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater’s Aging Well Center, 1501 N. Belcher Rd., has a wide variety of activities to challenge the mind and body during the month of June. • NEW! YOGA STRETCH SilverSneakersฎ - Tuesdays, starting June 4, 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Reduce stress, increase flexibility and balance with movements and restorative breathing exercises. Chair provided. No mat needed. Free for SilverSneakers members. Fees apply for non-members.

• CAREGIVER SERIES – Advance Directives and POLST, Tuesday, June 11, 11 a.m. to noon. Tracy Christner, Project GRACE discusses advance directives and translating directives into medical orders. Free.

• LEGAL MATTERS - Medical Issues and Malpractice, Wednesday, June 12, 1 to 2 p.m. Michael Pierce, Esq. and Ken Lark, Esq. of Stetson Law present answers to common healthcare questions, including fraud and medical malpractice. Pre-registration requested. Free.

• OPTIMAL LIVING DAILY - Character Building Blocks with Michael Whalen, LMHC, Thursday, June 13, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Pre-registration suggested. Free.
