Clearwater Celebrates America Event Needs Volunteers

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Volunteers are needed to rent chairs, help in the volunteer tent, sell soda and help serve volunteer food at Clearwater Celebrates America, the city’s annual Independence Day celebration. The event will be held on Thursday, July 4 in Coachman Park. The event is free and will feature the Mostly Pops Orchestra, fireworks, children’s activities, and food and drink concessions.

Clearwater affiliated non-profit groups are also needed to help work the entrance gates. Groups must be capable of providing at least 10 to 15 participants who are 16 or older. All participants must be comfortable searching through patron bags and belongings. Your group will receive instructions before you begin. Groups will earn fundraising dollars for participating. Once you are approved, groups will have the opportunity to participate in future events.
