Volunteers Needed for Planting Project at Lake Chautauqua Park

CLEARWATER, Fla. The City of Clearwater Parks and Recreation Department is looking for 25 to 30 volunteers, ages 16 and up, to help with a large-scale planting project at the Lake Chautauqua Equestrian Park. The project will be held Saturday, June 1 beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Participants must wear close-toed shoes, and bring a pair of work or gardening gloves if you have them. Supervision, tools and supplies will be provided. Students who participate are eligible to receive school service hours.
