Shannon Magrane to Perform at Coachman Park

CLEARWATER, Fla. – American Idol finalist Shannon Magrane will perform at the Sun Toyota Fun ‘n Sun Celebration presented by Q105 on Saturday, April 27 at 3 p.m. Singer/Songwriter Magrane was born in St. Louis, MO and raised in Tampa. She is a junior at Blake Performing Arts High School.

Among her most memorable accomplishments was working and performing with Chaka Khan during the season finale of American Idol at age 15. Magrane recently recorded a duet entitled, “Girls of the Night” with Deborah Cox from Frank Wildhorn’s musical, Jekyll and Hyde.

She has performed at NASCAR’s 2012 Coca-Cola 600 Nationwide Race; the 2012 Taste of Pinellas as the opening act for Sheryl Crow and Ziggy Marley; and opened for Rodney Atkins, 3 Doors Down, Disney’s Coco Jones; and for the Red Bull Wake Board Challenge. Shannon also performed in St. Louis for of the Cardinals Summer Concert Series. She has sung the National Anthem and entertained for many charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters, an anti-drug campaign called NOPE, and Doctor Idol.

Currently, Magrane is recording the theme song for Tampa Bay’s Fox 13 Good Day Tampa Bay daily show. She sang for athletic teams including the Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Storm, Tampa Bay Rowdies and, most recently, for the NFL Eagles vs. Buccaneers game.

Television appearances include Anderson Cooper 360, The Today Show, and LA Live.
