Clearwater Improves Its Online Job Listing & Applicant Processes

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- The City of Clearwater’s Human Resources Department has improved its online job listing and application processes. The enhanced system is now powered by NeoGov, new application software for workforce management.

Clearwater is currently using the software in the employment application process for job candidates, who can target which type of job postings they want to receive from the city, apply for positions, check the status of submitted applications, etc. The technology is 100-percent web-based and uses Cloud computing, which makes storage of information and access to it easier.

System benefits include reduced paperwork; improved communications among applicants, staff, and user departments; and an expanded applicant pool.
