Clearwater Libraries Offer Fine Amnesty for Donated Food

CLEARWATER, Fla. – All Clearwater Public Library branches will offer an amnesty period for overdue materials in exchange for donation of non-perishable foods.

The offer is valid from Nov. 15 through close of business Dec. 21. Anyone who has fines due may bring canned goods or non-perishable food items to any Clearwater library branch and present them at the circulation desk with the overdue materials if available. Staff will waive any fines due and the donated food will go toward a holiday charity food drive.
