Aging Well Center Offers Holiday Programs in December

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Clearwater Aging Well Center, 1501 N. Belcher Road in the Long Center, is announcing its December holiday programming lineup. A complete listing of events is available at, or by calling (727) 724-3070. Call to pre-register for events.

Tue., Dec. 3, 1 to 2:30 p.m., Holiday Scrabble Social. Play the traditional board game and get extra points for holiday-related words. Free.

Fri., Dec. 6, 1 to 3 p.m., Make a Holiday Centerpiece. Certified horticulturalist Linda Worle, shows you how to create a beautiful magnolia leaf candle holder centerpiece for your holiday table. using natural materials. Fee includes supplies. Pre-registration and payment required.

Mon., Dec. 9, noon to 2 p.m. Holiday Karaoke Sing-a-long. Dust off your vocal cords and join in this annual Aging Well Center favorite event. Free.

Tue., Dec. 10, 11 a.m. to noon. Holiday Party. Guitarist Bob Voegeli of 2 the Max band plays standards and holiday favorites. Free.

Wed., Dec. 18, 2 to 3:30 p.m. Holiday Jazz. Get into the spirit with world-renowned saxophonist David Pate and his jazz trio. Space is limited. Free.

Mon., Dec. 23, 1 to 2 p.m. From St. Nicholas to Santa Claus. A lighthearted history of how St. Nicholas became the jolly Santa we know today. Join us for some seasonal refreshments and good cheer. Free.

Tue., Dec. 24, 1 to 2:30 p.m., ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Join us in a storytelling experience, share a favorite funny holiday anecdote or memory of a holiday that was meaningful to you. Free.

Mon., Dec. 30, 1 to 2 p.m. Holiday White Elephant Gift Exchange: Bring an inexpensive, wrapped gift and join the playful rivalry to acquire that item with the most appeal. Free.
