Signs and Treatments of Autism to be Discussed

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The City of Clearwater Therapeutic Recreation Services, in collaboration with Parent Power Series and Morton Plant Mease, will present a program on the signs and treatment of Autism on Monday, Nov. 19, at 6:30 p.m. The seminar will be held at the Aging Well Center Grand Room in the Long Center, 1501 N. Belcher Road.

Emily Bell, Registered Nurse, Registered Nurse Practitioner, and Professional Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified, will discuss the symptoms that individuals with autism exhibit. Attendees will learn what autism is, what the signs are, and the appropriate steps to take for diagnosis and treatment.
