Florida Scuba Olympics at Long Center Pool

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The 5th Annual Florida Scuba Olympics will be Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Long Center Pool from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event challenges scuba divers in the state of Florida to compete for medals in Underwater Bicycle Racing, One Fin Raft Racing, Underwater Balloon Lift Racing, and Dive Buddy Towing Races.

The event is sponsored by the Professional Association of Dive Operators and proceeds benefit Special Olympics and the Clearwater Adaptive Swim Team. The public is invited to attend at no charge. Shirts and concessions will be available for purchase with proceeds going to the groups mentioned.
