Learn Unusual Ways to Conserve Electricity

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Andy Karpinski, auto/aerospace engineer and inventor, will discuss ways to dramatically reduce electric use 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at Moccasin Lake Nature Center in their classroom. His focus will be on making changes that may require some expense or construction skills, such as improving insulation, attic venting, radiant barriers, and sealing of air leaks. Karpinski reduced his electric bill to less than $20 a month after 30 years of study and experimentation.
