FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Nov. 1, 2012 Contact: Dawn Lewellyn (727) 793-2339, ext. 245 Quit Smoking Now at Ross Norton Recreation Center CLEARWATER, Fla. - A free program to help people stop smoking will be offered at the Ross Norton Recreation Center, 1426 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. Participants will meet for one hour for six weeks, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. The class will provide the tools needed to help quit tobacco, and will cover preparing a plan that works; specific ways to deal with cravings; physical and emotional symptoms to expect; effective coping mechanisms; and four free weeks of patches, gum or lozenges while supplies last.
