Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. This workshop supplies both instructions and materials on how to file and gain Guardian Advocacy of a Developmentally Disabled Adult dependent in Pinellas County. Once dependents reach the age of 18 they are considered legal adults so that parents can no longer legally make decisions for them or help make decisions. The Guardian Advocacy process allows parents to continue to care for their dependent without finding them incompetent and without the use of a lawyer. Preregistration is required and the deadline for preregistration is Friday, March 16. To register, call (727) 793-2339, ext. 245. ###
